Hello beauties! Happy New Year! I don’t know about you but I am in the midst of reorganizing, decluttering, and re-energizing this week. I may do a series in which I declutter my makeup collection soon! Today, I have a review for you. I’ve been trying out the 100% Pure Organic Rose Water Sensitive Skin collection – here are my thoughts.

In one word: wonderful. My sensitive skin loves these formulas, and I love their delicate natural rose scent. These are extra gentle, leave my skin, soft, clean (but not stripped), and moisturized. I would have used these every single day in December, but because they are in heavy bottles I didn’t bring them with me during the week that I traveled. But I missed them! These are formulated without sulfates or any other harsh detergents that can strip, dehydrate or irritate. Vegetarian and cruelty-free.

Organic Rose Water Sensitive Skin: Cleansing Foam
This is a gel-like cleanser that foams up once you massage into damp skin. I typically use at least 4-5 pumps to get good results. This will wash away makeup (as long as it isn’t waterproof) and delivers just the right amount of clean. By that I mean that it doesn’t just sit on the skin like some cleansing milks can, but doesn’t over-cleanse either. It contains: Licorice and uva ursi to brighten; coffee cherry and green coffee (revitalize); yellow dock (calms redness); chamomile (anti-inflammatory); calendula and aloe (to deeply soothe).

Organic Rose Water Sensitive Skin: Emulsion Tonique
This might be my favorite of the three. I use about 3 sprays into the palm of my hand and then smooth into my skin. Even if I use another cleanser some days, I still use this as a step before applying moisturizer. It instantly makes my skin feel silky smooth, and it helps to keep my skin moisturized for longer than if I just use a moisturizer alone. It contains olive squalane (increases elasticity and softness); rooibos tea and rose essential oil (calm irritation), and hyaluronic acid which locks water into thirsty skin cells.

Organic Rose Water Sensitive Skin: Nourishing Moisturizer
Ahh, another layer of silky rose hydration! I find this absorbs into skin quickly and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It really leaves my skin feeling petal-soft. I was going to try an avoid that cliche term here, but I just can’t. It contains restorative sea buckthorn, acai, borage and primrose oils (to moisturize); anti-aging antioxidants like goji berry, CoQ10, Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Niacinamide (to renew complexion). Two pumps usually does the trick.

The only thing negative I have to say about these is that the shape of the bottles, though perhaps aesthetically pleasing, has caused these to slip right out of my hands a few times. They are heavy glass (which I love) but when you grab for the pear-shaped bottles with wet hands they can slip right through your fingers. I remedied this by taking them off of the shoulder-height shelve they were on and just leaving them on the counter so that they wouldn’t drop very far if they did slip again.

If you have sensitive / dry skin I would definitely recommend these. xo – Naomi
