November was a whirlwind month filled with lots of writing (see my last post) and apparently, many hours spent with Netflix and Hulu. I also fell in love with some stellar natural skincare and beauty items. I uploaded my November Favorites video yesterday, but I also wanted to go a bit more in depth about them here.

100% Pure Cocoa Butter Matte Lipstick

I recently did a whole review and post with all the color swatches a few weeks ago. You can dive into that post here. This formula was a definite must in my November favorites list! Perhaps my favorite matte lipsticks ever. I’ve been wearing them ALL the time!! Matte, yet not drying. Long-lasting and completely non-toxic fruit pigmented color.

Jurlique Limited Edition Rose Body Oil

The cold weather started early November here in Vermont and my skin instantly threw a fit. My legs especially were screaming for some intense moisture. This body oil has been a lifesaver! It smells beautifully of roses (naturally), is lightweight and quenches my skin with a combination of nourishing oils including Safflower Seed Oil, Macadamia Seed Oil, and Jojoba Seed Oil. It also contains extracts of rosemary, rose, horse chestnut, lavender, chamomile, calendula, and birch leaf. The dry, red, irritated skin on my shins was calm, smooth, and healthy again after just a few days of using this oil.

100% Pure Organic Rose Water emulsion tonique

Ahhh, this one smells even more heavenly. I’d never heard of ’emulsion tonique’ before, but essentially this is a toner and is applied after cleansing, but before serum and moisturizer. My skin has been loving this and I’ll be doing a full review of this and the cleanser and moisturizer in this line soon, but just had to mention it in my favorites. It makes my skin so soft, calm, and happy. It has olive squalane, rooibos tea, rose essential oil, and hyaluronic acid which are all great for dry sensitive skin.

Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizers

These are GORGEOUS! They come in three shades (which I swatched in the video) and are made with 99% natural ingredients. Free of synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrance (they’re all lightly scented with lavender essential oil), parabens, and phthalates. And cruelty free. I love this brand and especially these creme luminizers. I’ve been using them on cheeks, lips, and eyes.

Kendra Scott Bracelet

popsugar-november-musthavebox-unboxing-4-5I love wearing Kendra Scott ‘Elaina’ Rose Gold Bracelet in White Pearl lately. It was in my November Popsugar Must Have Box. It adjusts through a sliding closure so you can easily put it on without having someone help with a fussy clasp.

OMG. I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who haven’t seen it yet (and if you haven’t why on Earth not!?). So I won’t leak any spoilers. But I watched all four episodes within a day and then was left feeling strangely fulfilled and hollow at the same time. Like when one eats too many waffles. I want more!!! I laughed and cried and #allthefeels. Pleeeeeez bring us a second season of this Netflix. Pretty please?

Smallville

smallville-fangirlI have become a Smallville fangirl. And proud of it. This show rocks! Hulu added the entire series recently (10 seasons) and I am about to finish season 4. I watched the first half of season 1 back when it came out (1999 folks!) and then forgot about it. Things like Netflix and Hulu didn’t exist back then and “binge watching” wasn’t really a term yet. I’m actually happy to have rediscovered it now, when I have all the episodes at my fingertips so that I can binge watch at my leisure. It is about Clark Kent (from the day he lands on earth in a spaceship from Krypton) and throughout his high school days and beyond when he eventually becomes Superman.

What have you been loving lately? xo -Naomi
