A girl can never have enough colors to choose from – especially when said colors are 100% natural, vegan, cruelty free and made with all-natural fruit pigments. The new 100% Pure Cocoa Butter Matte Lipsticks joined my little family of lip colors a few weeks ago and I am here to report that I am in LOVE. These are the best matte lipsticks I have ever worn – hands down. They’re smooth, light weight, and glide right on for a soft matte finish. They’re technically called ‘semi-matte.’ They don’t dry out my lips and they last a super long time.
How adorable are these little cases with silver leaves and vines!? These have quickly become one of my favorites among my natural lipstick collection.
Left to Right: Cactus Bloom, Blood Orange, Tempest, Sandstone, Hyacinthus, Prickly Pear, Marrakesh, Currant, Sonora
It comes in 10 shades in all (I haven’ tried Aubergine or Pink Canyon). These are formulated with healthy fruit pigments and a moisturizing blend of cocoa butter, shea butter and vitamin E. They’re intensely pigmented and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the color payoff that these provide. Here are some swatches in action on my lips.
I can’t decide which I love more. They’re all perfect for different moods! Here’s a little description of each:
Marrakesh – a vibrant fuchsia
Prickly Pear – vibrant coral pink
Currant – a mauve berry red
Tempest – an ultra violet
Hyacinthus – a deep berry purple
Sonora – a bright warm-tone red
Cactus Blossom – a vibrant orange red
Sandstone – a camel nude
Blood Orange – a classic cool-tone red
What do you think of these colors? Which one would you love to wear? Let me know in the comments below.
I give five stars to the 100% Pure Matte Lipsticks. They’re $29 each (though I see they have some special deals listed in their holiday guide). You’ll get 100% Free Shipping on 100percentpure.com (no minimums) if you’d like to scoop up a few of these babies for yourself! xo – Naomi
