The further into 2016 we get the more daunting it was to do this post, there’s just soooo much to go through. But I finally got it done! Gathering all of my favorite beauty products from one year into one post is a rather daunting task, and I had to whittle down this list from an enormous mountain to the 24 items you see below. These are the ones I award best products of 2015. This is just the makeup though…in a few days will be round two with the second half of my favorites: skincare. Okay…let’s get into it!

17633_NVEY_ECO_Moisture_Rich_Fluid_Foundation_4Liquid Foundation:  NVEY Eco Moisture Rich Fluid Foundation. I wear both 514 Cool Natural and 510 Cool Ivory depending on the time of year… though liquid foundation is not an everyday thing for me. This is the second year in a row I’ve included this in my annual favorites and I’ve posted about it several times. It is fragrance-free, long lasting, and just gives my skin the most beautiful even coverage I’ve found without looking cakey.

ASpen-PF_1024x1024Powder Foundation: Alima Pure Pressed Foundation with Antioxidant Rosehip. This has become my favorite powder foundation for light to medium coverage. I use a brush for light coverage, or the padded applicator included for medium coverage. Read my recent review here.

1CTMWP-2_largeTinted Moisturizer/BB Cream: This year I used 100% Pure’s Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer the most on days where I just wanted light coverage. I wear it in the shade creme. It is light, doesn’t irritate my skin, and just feels healthy.

1CCLLC-2_mediumConcealer: I have three favorites, but if I had to choose just one, it would be the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Long Lasting Concealer in Creme or White Peach. I use this hands down every single day. I also just have to give a mention to the jane iredale Disappear™ Concealer with Green Tea (in light) which is a blemish covering warrior, and the Everyday Minerals Multi-Tasking Mineral Concealer in golden fair which I use to set/give extra coverage over blemishes.

alima-pure_velvet-lipstick_large27-kisses s1718733-main-hero-300Lipstick: Ahhh! Do I have to pick just one? How about I cheat a little and choose my top three? Oh man, even picking just three is hard! Okay, if I had to pick my top three for 2015 they’d be Nudus, Alima Pure Velvet Lipstick (refillable), and Bite Beauty (their opal lipstick this year was just SO cool). I would include Axiology in there too but apparently they just reformulated everything and I haven’t tried the new formula yet so…

favorite lip glosses of 2015Lip gloss: Again, almost impossible to pick just one. Okay, it is impossible for me. I had four favorite lip glosses in 2015: Pacifica Enlightened Gloss (a favorite now for 3 years running), Genfiore Hydrasheer Botanic Lip Gloss (read my review here), Burt’s Bees Lip Natural Gloss, and L’Eclisse Natural Lip Gloss (they came out with new colors and an improved formula in 2015 which you can read about here).

Glow-Lipstick_SMLT_1200x1200_grandeLip Tint: Mineral Fusion Sheer Moisture Lip Tint. I love these so much I went out and bought backups after the collection was sent to me. Best formula ever… the only thing I don’t like about these is that the lids easily come off in your purse (yeah that happened) and also crack easily if you press down on them too hard. I’m hoping they’ll fix that, but these are one of my daily favs.

radiantlipwhip_1443683132_515x515Lip balm:  Kari Gran Lip Whip. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with these in 2015 and continuing on into 2016. They have a clear one but also a few tints, my favorite is the shade Radiant which I wear probably 5-6 days out of 7 each week because nothing seems to moisturize and repair my lips this well, while also looking good.

Blond-Satin-Matte-Eyeshadow_76f49ff3-abd7-4d2f-96a4-cdbc6d58baf6_1024x1024Loose Eye Shadow – When it comes to loose mineral pigments, in 2015 I most often reached for my Alima Pure Mineral Eyeshadows. Their satin matte finish is probably my favorite, but I also love their luminous shimmers and pearlusters too. They’re high quality natural shadows with a vast color range.

longweekendpalette_combined_pdpFavorite Palette: In 2015 it was probably the Julep Long Weekend Eyeshadow Palette. I used it the most for everyday, neutral looks. All eleven shades are very wearable, good quality, and it comes with one of the best eye brushes I’ve ever seen in a palette- in a coppery rose gold no less.

81BAne7GlsL._SY355_Highlighter: MaryLou Manizer by thebalm. This remains my favorite highlighter for a few years now. There are others I love, but this one is just the most mesmerizing to my faerie brain. It’s the one I keep right at the top of my makeup draw so its easy to find. If you’re interested in others though, check out this post.

stellar-gaze-natural-mascara-swipeMascara: Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mineral Mascara. I’ve tried a lot of mascaras and this is the one I wore most (in Supernova) on a daily basis in 2015 because it makes my lashes feathery and long without looking too clumpy and has very minimal transfer (I seem to have that problem with most mascaras and have yet to find one that doesn’t transfer at all). Plus it comes off without a hassle. I have a post coming up soon all about the natural mascaras I’ve tried so stay tuned!

Blush-Pink-SapphirePowder Blush: L’Eclisse Pressed Mineral Blush. I am happy to have all three colors they make in my collection but I wear Pink Sapphire and Pink Coral the most. These are silky, matte, and long lasting. A little goes a long way, plus their packaging feels luxurious.

817MfC-kEKL._SY355_Cream Blush: Han Skin Care Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Tint. I wear this in the shade Pink Peony and man did I wear this a lot! I think I wore it every single day for a month when I first got it I love it so much. I still wear it a lot and it is one of my favorite discoveries of the year! Read my review here.

554Brows: Tarte Colored Clay Tinted Brow Gel. I used this every day for the last third of 2015 (once my Tarte eye brow pencil ran out) and have really come to love how quick it is to fill in my brows with. I’ve been using the shade medium brown. It has a teeny tiny spool brush and it makes it really easy to make your brows fuller while also keeping them natural and not too defined the way that can happen with a pencil.

london_swatchNail Polish: I simply fell in love with Julep all year long in 2015. I love their company right down to the lovely women who run it and month after month they come out with innovative colors and finishes in a 5-free, vegan formula. One of my favorite colors of 2015 was London (seen left).

15m-guaiac-organic-perfume-red-flower-02_5Perfume: Red Flower in Guaiac and Champa. These scents are so beautiful. I keep them right on my desk because they have become all-time favorites and someday I will get the large size…someday. It’s kinda expensive and I’m living off samples still. Perfume isn’t really makeup, but I figured I’d include it here.

Whew…okay, now there are so many other things I could have included, but I really tried to get it down to as few items as possible. Check back here in a few days for my skincare favorites. And I’d love to know what your favorite natural beauty products of 2015 were! Let’s chat about them in the comments below 🙂 xo – Naomi
