A few days late with this but today I’m sharing my favorites for October (and September, really). What have I been especially loving lately? A handful of makeup items, and a few amazing skincare items! Let’s dive in…

October 2015 Favorites

Kari Gran Lip Whip in Radiant – Simply obsessed and have been wearing pretty much whenever I’m not wearing lipstick. It instantly hydrates and makes my lips look great. See my review/swatches here.

Andalou Naturals Heavenly Night Cream – I just reviewed this like a week ago, but I love it so much I had to include it here. It has a rich, velvety texture and gorgeous rose scent…from real roses…nothing artificial. See the review here.

Red Flower Arctic Berry Cloud Milk Cream – I got this in my Autumn Yuzen box and have absolutely fallen in love with it. It literally saved my skin during an unusually persistent breakout in September and I think it might be an all-time favorite for combination dry/oily skin out of every moisturizer I’ve tried so far, and that is saying a lot! It has a whipped consistency and contains concentrated antioxidants from the precious cloudberry (rich in fatty acids and vitamins). I’m obsessed with the scent. On the jar is says “filled with the scent of tens of thousands of tiny spring buds.” It really helps to balance and even out my skin, it is ultra hydrating and I’ve honestly experienced less breakouts since using it. My skin LOVES it and I will be buying more when my sample size is out. Thank you Yuzen for introducing me to this!

IMG_9984Cowgirl Extreme Antioxidant Serum – This I also discovered by getting a sample of it in my Autumn Yuzen box and I’d say it is in my top three serums I’ve ever tried. Plus, it paired wonderfully with the Red Flower Arctic Berry Cloud Milk Cream (above). Together they were a dream team when my skin was throwing a fit.

Pacifica Gossamer Wings Eye Shadow Palette – More specifically I’ve been obsessed with the two shades on either end – treasure and glow. You can read more about their shadows in my favorite palettes post. Treasure is such a gorgeous brassy brown with hints of gold shimmer like a moth wing…and glow is a creamy vanilla. They pair together beautifully for a simply and quick everyday look. A sweep of glow all over the lids and then a touch of treasure at the outer corners and in the crease. Pacifica doesn’t have this on their own website because it a Target exclusive.

Alima Pure Velvet Lipstick in the new color Caroline – This just came out and I love the dusty plum rose color. They also came out with Louise, my new favorite everyday creamy nude/pink. I’m loving their new packaging. Also this smells very faintly of vanilla. Yum. I swatched both new shades on Instagram here. You can read my review of this formula and see other colors here.

HAN Skin Care Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Tint in Pink Peony – I reviewed this a month ago (you can see swatches here) and I am still in love and wearing it all the time. Love, love, love.

Julep Light on Your Lips in Strut – I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this yet…perhaps on Instagram. It is one of their newer shades. Oh, you know where I mentioned it!? In My Favorite Berry Lipsticks for Fall post. I got in in my September maven box and it is a full-coverage crème lipstick with a gorgeous medium plum shade. And it really is light on your lips…can barely tell its there.

Julep Essential Cuticle Oil – I got this in my October maven box and am very happy I did! The weather is making my hands and cuticles more dry and this all-natural blend of essential oils and Vitamin E is the perfect little solution. I keep it at my desk and I love that it has a mini roller-ball. It smells lightly of lavender and really helps to keep my cuticles soft and my nails healthier.

Thanks for reading and I hope you found some of this useful 🙂 I’d love to know what you’ve been loving in the past month or so. Let me know in the comments below. And hello, November! – xo Naomi
