With cooler weather finally upon us (at least for those of us in New England!) I thought it would be a fitting time to post about my tea collection and some of my favorite teas. I don’t drink coffee and tend to only drink herbal teas or those with little to no caffeine. I love everything about tea, from the actual ingredients that go into them to the calming daily ritual of putting the kettle on and steeping the tea before taking that delicious first sip. They’re good for your body and soul!

If herbal tea isn’t really your thing you might not want to read this, but if you love tea, or are interested in trying some herbal tea this fall, I have some great suggestions for you. This is what my collection currently consists of:

Celestial Seasonings – Tension Tamer
Celestial Seasonings – Sleepytime Throat Tamer
Harney & Sons HT Blends – Green Tea with Thai Flavors ( I don’t love this one, though I do love the tin)
Twinings – Chamomile Honey & Vanilla
TAZO – Calm Chamomile (chamomile flowers + hibiscus flowers + rose petals + spearmint – I actually really love this iced in the summer)
TAZO – Passion (this one is a little too sweet for me so I typically mix it with other things)
Yogi – Green Tea Goji Berry
Yogi – Green Tea Super Antioxidant
Yogi – Soothing Caramel Bedtime
Yogi – Honey Lavender Stress Relief (probably my number one favorite of all time…I always make sure to have a backup box)
Yogi – Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy
Yogi – Lemon Ginger (very strong on the ginger, I have to really be in the mood for this one)

My herbal tea collection

I also had a few random packets of other teas from years past but no longer had the boxes and don’t have them that often, so this is my main collection. That being said, the five shown below are the ones I reach for most often. Especially the Yogi Honey Lavender Stress Relief (wonderful to have in the evening) and green teas (during the day). If I had more room in my cabinets I’d probably buy tea almost every trip to the store but I’m trying to finish a few of these before going crazy with new ones!

my favorite herbal tea

I also really love a good cherry blossom tea – if you have any good recommendations for that let me know! I had one at a cafe in Burlington, VT last spring that was SO amazing…
Let me know what your favorite teas are, and what you’re excited to drink this fall! xo – Naomi
