As the weather gets cooler (we’ve had snow here already in Vermont!), my skin calls for something a little different than the lightweight summer moisturizers. Lately I’ve been testing out the Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses® Beautiful Day Cream, Night Cream, Rosewater Mask, and Eye Revive Contour Gel – which I’ll be reviewing here today. I don’t know about you but I LOVE the smell of roses, and these products smell heavenly.
The scent of these is delicate and real, not artificial and overpowering. Each time I use any of these it is such an enjoyable moment because when I close my eyes its as if I’m in a rose garden. They’re all made with alpine rose stem cells which help to renew, repair, and regenerate the skin and help prevent signs of aging. I also love that this line is made for sensitive, dry skin, which I definitely have in the fall/winter. They all contain a certified organic BioActive 8 Berry Complex, certified organic aloe vera, pomegranate, and hyaluronic acid.
1000 ROSES® Beautiful Day Cream, $24.95 – A silky smooth moisturizer that absorbs very fast leaving skin soft and ready to apply any makeup for the day. Non-greasy and feels weightless. This and the night cream haven’t made my skin breakout at all, and have improved my complexion over the course of a few weeks.
1000 ROSES® Heavenly Night Cream, $24.95 – A rich, velvety cream that really packs intense moisture to your skin as you sleep. I loooove using this at night! It is about twice as thick as the day cream but it too absorbs quickly and just leaves my skin so soft.
Left: Night Cream / Right: Day Cream
1000 ROSES® Rosewater Mask, $14.95 – I’ve used this twice so far and will definitely continue to include it in my weekly ritual during the fall and winter months. It is a similar consistency to the night cream but you smooth a thick layer over your face and let sit for 10 minutes then rinse with cool water. My skin drinks this stuff up! It is kind of like a gel mask…though I’d call it a cream mask. If your skin needs a boost of rosy hydration you need to try this!
1000 Roses® Eye Revive Contour Gel, $19.95 – I’ve been using this a lot, mostly in the mornings because I keep it where I put my makeup on. It has a rollerball at the tip so application is super fast and easy. It has a lightweight gel formula which glides on and then absorbs super fast – a great primer for the eye area a few minutes before doing makeup or concealing. I’ve noticed it definitely helps to reduce puffiness and firm the skin around my eye area.
Andalou Naturals uses Non-GMO, Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free, Eco-Friendly, Certified Organic, Fair Trade, Vegetarian, and Vegan ingredients. I’m super happy with what I’ve tried so far from this brand and highly recommend you give them a try! They also have several other products in their rose collection which look amazing. Have you tried anything from this collection? Would love to know your thoughts in the comments below 🙂 xo – Naomi
