One of my absolute favorite natural beauty companies, 100% Pure, has been rolling out some great new products lately and I wanted to share a few of my recent favorites! Vitamint fruit pigmented sheer lip colors, eye creamsticks, and their new maracuja oil mascara.

The new Vitamint Lip Creamsticks have a very minty scent and cool feeling on the lips from the peppermint oil in them, though this fades away after about twenty minutes. They are super moisturizing and are sort of like a glossy balm with a strong tint. The formula is very soft and buttery. They’re 100% natural and 100% vegan, free of synthetic chemicals, fragrances, chemical preservatives or any other toxins. They come in six shades and I have three to swatch for you:

Cake – A semi-sheer bubblegum pink
Cherry Tomato – A sheer and very glossy ripe tomato red (this shade did stain my lips a slight bit, you might like that, you might not)
Butterscotch – Soft semi-sheer mauvey nude

The other colors I have not tried yet are Vino, Peachy, and Dragonfruit

I like the white twist-up tubes with a pink floral/leafy design printed on them and the pretty embossed P on the tip of the bullets (seen below). I love little details like that! The only thing is when I peeled off the plastic they were shrink wrapped in (with the ingredients on it) the ink from the ingredients had permanently transferred onto the white tube a little bit. Not a big deal, but thought I’d mention it.

eye creamsticks in ecru glimmer and naked glimmerTaking the same tube style and twist-up bullet form, they created the new Eye Creamsticks. These also come in six colors, but I’ve only tried two so far: Ecru Glimmer and Naked Glimmer. These two happen to go very well together though! These sticks are creamy and you can glide them right onto your lids and then blend into place with fingertips.

Ecru – Medium taupe with golden undertones, very slight shimmer

Naked – Light golden shimmer (with much larger shimmer flecks than Ecru)

The other four colors are Eggplant, Forest, Susie’s Favorite, and Light. They all look amazing! These do crease a little by the end of the day (like most cream shadows) but I really like these for the days when I want a super-easy and quick way to get ready. It literally takes a few seconds to swipe them on your lids and blend a bit and then boom you look just a little more put together.

100% Pure’s fruit pigmented mascara has been one of my top favorites for two years now I was very excited to try their new Maracuja Oil Mascara. The formula delivers a wetter, more intense look than their original mascara. It definitely lengthens and thickens lashes. I tried it in black tea, though my favorite of their originals in the shade blackberry so I might try this in that shade next. The brush does hold a lot of product so you have to be careful to not overload your brush on first application because then when you brush through to separate you can overload the lashes. I really like the look this brush and formula combo creates though. The brush is a little fuller than their other brush but I’m not sure which I like better, the other brush really works to separate lashes…then again as long as this one doesn’t get overloaded with product it does too.

Maracuja Oil MascaraHere I’m wearing Ecru creamstick over my lid with a bit of Naked layered on top in the center of the lid with the maracuja oil mascara. I used Tarte’s colored clay tinted brow gel in medium brown to darken my brows just a bit. No foundation but a bit of 100% pure long last concealer in white peach under the eye.

Oh, and I should mention that the maracuja oil mascara is a little bit harder to take off than their original fruit pigmented one. Not extremely hard like a waterproof mascara but just takes a little bit more time to remove than the other which washes right off. If you haven’t tried an all natural mascara yet, you should definitely give this one a chance!!

I hope you enjoyed and found this post helpful in some way. I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you think. Also what your favorite natural mascaras are! I’ve tried probably at least 15 of them in the past two years and am thinking I might do a post on my favorites soon. Let me know if you’d like to see that. xo – Naomi
