Another lipgloss…I know, I know, I have an addiction! These are one of my top favorites though and I’m super excited to share them with you today. Genfiore Hydrasheer Botanic Lipgloss are smooth, silky, creamy – not sticky. I did a review of this gloss last June, but I only had the shade Pomegranate at the time. I’ve since added to my collection and wanted to show you a few more swatches / profess my love for this product all over again.
These are made with organic sunflower and Jojoba oils, and smoothing Shea and Cocoa butter – which gives them their delicious cocoa scent.
There are currently 14 shades available and I have Pomegranate, Raspberry, Baby Pink, Shimmer Rose, Autumn, and Nude. I’ve been eyeing Iridescent Plum and Coral too…will probably try those next! I realize it is hard to see the Shimmer Rose in the swatch on my arm above, but it is a gorgeous rose gold shimmer with very fine shimmer particles. It is one of my favorite shimmer glosses ever!
Below you can get an idea of what they look like on, but sorry these are a little blurry! Had to take them with my phone (other camer was out of order this weekend) and it just wouldn’t come out right for some reason, but you can get an idea.
The below photo shows the shade Autumn, which is a color very similar to my natural lips but just a tiny bit darker. I wore it when creating a tutorial on No-Makeup Makeup for The Everygirl. I will say that the color chart Genfiore has on their website isn’t really accurate to how these glosses look in person. At least my computer doesn’t show the colors accurately. Autumn looks like a fiery red on their color chart, when in reality it is a nude/brown pink.
The consistency is what keeps me reaching for these glosses again and again. They’re just so hydrating, plumping, and creamy yet lightweight on the lips. Glosses you can truly enjoy wearing, not just because they look good. Plus they’re packed with healthy ingredients (no artificial preservatives either).
Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend! Congrats to all the graduates this month and those having spring weddings! xo – Naomi
