When I discovered Nūdus on Instagram several weeks ago I knew immediately that I had to try these certified organic, handcrafted lipsticks from Australia. So far everything about them has impressed me, from the sleek white cases to formula and colors. I’ve been wearing them almost daily since I got them two weeks ago. They’re long lasting, don’t dry out my lips, no artificial colors, and they’re just so beautiful!
Nūdus handcrafted lip euphoria are formulated with a special mix of ancient Ayurvedic pure bioactive color extracts from flowers, fruits, herbs and minerals. It says on the box they are made with 27 active naturals including vitamins A, B, C, D, and K, and 11 cold-pressed oils including pumpkin, kiwi seed, raspberry, pomegranate, argan, and moringa. Probably why they are so moisturizing! Yet, these babies have a lovely matte finish and they stay put.
I tried them in the following shades:
Naked – I thought this was going to be too brown when I first looked at it but it actually works on my fair skin. I really like it!
Precious – A hot pink. It actually looks like its going to be a coral pink when you first look at the bullet, but then as soon as I swatched it and “broke the surface” it showed its true self. Gorgeous!
27 Kisses – A plummy brick/rose. This is so easily worn on so many occasions. Very versatile.
Just Like Jade – Wore this on a date with my husband last week and loved it! It is deep dusty mauve / plum shade but looks super natural not like, whoa shes wearing purple lipstick! I’ll wear this a lot!
Fairy Tales (woops, I wrote Fairy Tale on the swatch images, but it is called Fairy Tales) – A light coral color. This is so unique and not a color I would normally go for, but I am so glad I tried it! Great for spring and summer!
I think I’m in love with these. The white cases with the little nude woman drawn on the silver inner casing, the way they last so long without being drying, and the amazing ingredient list! I’m obsessed! Going to have to try the other five colors. Also love the little card they sent with all the adjectives that describe nūdus women. Going to put this up above my desk!
I LOVE discovering lipsticks that are actually healthy to wear! I should also mention these are gluten-free and free from parabens, dyes, hydrogenated oils, GMO, pesticides, lanolin, fungicides, petro-chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and nano-particles. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a luxurious new lipstick I give these a big thumbs up. xo – Naomi

August 31, 2016 at 9:08 pm (7 years ago)Hi, looking for a new lipstick since my favorite has been discontinued. I am looking for a plum shade. Not berry, or reddish. Please let me know which shade would be the one I should purchase.
Thanks!
