I have so much to share from Mineral Fusion, so this might be a long post! This company is based in Denver, CO and they make skin care and cosmetics (in the USA) that are free of gluten, parabens, talc, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, SLS, and phthalates. They’re also committed to sustainability and utilize wind power, soy inks, packaging from recycled materials and packaging that is recyclable. Love to see that! Today I’m sharing some of my favorites I’ve tried so far from their line.

Mineral Fusion Favorites

I’m going to start with swatches of my new favorite lip product obsession: their Sheer Moisture Lip Tints. I love these SO much! So much that I went and bought a back up of my favorite everyday color (Twinkle) right away. I hardly ever do such a thing, so that is a real testament to these lip tints! This formula is smooth, silky, glossy, moisturizing like a balm (contains cocoa butter), and smells really good (hint of vanilla mint). They keep my lips hydrated without feeling waxy or sticky. The colors are sheer enough to apply without a mirror, but a few are buildable for a slightly brighter look.

They come in 8 colors: Adorn, Blush, Smolder, Flicker, Glisten, Twinkle, Glow, and Shimmer

I cannot even express how amazing these are. I love the twist up packaging and clear caps too. These are just simply my favorite lip crayons for sheer color and moisture EVER. They feel so good to wear. They’re also priced great at $9.99 each. 100% Vegetarian. Gluten Free. Cruelty Free. Artificial color free.

I also tried one of their lip glosses in Dazzle. I was very happy with this formula. It has a beautiful peachy pink sheer coverage, goes on creamy and is fruity smelling. It is infused with antioxidant-rich White Tea, Red Tea, and Pomegranate plus Vitamins A & C to protect delicate lips against free radical damage. The consistency and scent actually remind me a lot of the glosses by 100% Pure. Great product, I only wish there was a little more in the tube (it is 4ml).

Continuing with the lip products, I tried their two new lipstick colors, Tempting and Charming. These lipsticks are like a more intense version of the sheer lip tints. They have great moisture for a lipstick, more color and longer lasting than the tints, but I wouldn’t call them ultra intense lip colors – but I like that in this case. Tempting appears really vampy in the tube but when applied is a much more pinky-sheer-berry red. Charming is a bright rose pink…like a more intense version of the lip tint Glow.

Next is the Pressed Powder Foundation. This is a light to full coverage powder foundation and I’ve only been using it as a light coverage – sometimes just as a finishing powder over a BB cream. I am shade Neutral 1 (it comes in 15 shades) and I really like the silky consistency. It gives a very natural matte finish and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It has age-defying and skin-soothing botanicals, is gluten free, paraben free, talc free, and hypoallergenic. I should mention in this section while talking about foundation that I really liked their mattifying primer (pictured above in first photo). I’m not one to use primers much at all, probably because I don’t wear full coverage foundation every day. But liked the formula of this one and think it is great for if you’re getting ready for an event or need your full coverage makeup to last all day. It really gives skin a smooth, poreless look and keeps shine at bay.

I tried an eye shadow in Rare. This has become my favorite green shadow hands down. I have green eyes – so green eye shadows are important. Green eyed beauties you know what I mean. It is super creamy and silky and has little undertones of gold among the rich mossy/lichen green color. It contains pomegranate, sea kelp, green tea, Vitamins C & E, and Aloe Vera. And like all their products is free of Gluten, Parabens, Artificial Colors, Fragrances and Talc. Never-tested on animals. Hypo-allergenic.

Right now their eye shadow singles only come in six shades. I really hope they make more. Their eye shadow trios have many more color options though.

MF_Hair_PAIR_CurlCare_440x240Oh! And I almost forgot – I also tried their Curl Care Shampoo and Conditioner and really loved it! I awarded it best shampoo and conditioner for curly hair in the 2nd Annual Natural Beauty Awards in Sweet Violet Bride. I have naturally wavy to curly hair that is also really fine (and a very sensitive scalp) and this has worked great for me so far. I just finished the conditioner and need to buy more. I always run out of that twice as fast because my hair is so long right now.

Wow, told you that was going to be a long post! I hope you’ve discovered some new things to try or helped you make a decision if you were considering this brand. See you next week. xo – Naomi

Thanks for the review! It was very helpful. Very beautiful shadows. I also like powder. Some lip tint I also have and I’m happy. Thanks to your review, I now know how to look on the lips shade blush.

This brand is so affordable! I love Smolder and Tempting has a fitting namesake.
