Happy December, everyone! I’ve finally corralled my favorites from the month of November. I’m loving easy to use, stress-reducing items as lately I’ve been flat out working on issue 3 of Sweet Violet Bride. These items brighten my day and make me happy!

November beauty favorites 2014

Julep Nailed It Mini Holiday SetJulep Nailed It Holiday Set
This is a collection of the best selling colors of 2014 in nail color minis. I bought this when they were having a 40% off sale on their site a few weeks ago as a splurge for myself. I could not be happier. Minis!!! They’re so cute and I love all these colors. It is part of their limited edition holiday collection. I got a few other things from their holiday items too…another post on that soon!

Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic Pure Neroli Essence and Destress Express Pure Essence Elixir
I’m obsessed with these. They were sent to me to be considered for the magazine and now I honestly don’t know how I’m going to live without them. I’m a huge fan of Neroli (from bitter orange blossoms) to begin with and this one is so pure and of excellent quality. It smells like sunshine in a bottle, is so uplifting, and also calming. The Destress Express is also amazing. A mix of peppermint, spearmint, ravintsara, cardamom, cinnamon, chamomile, lime, and vanilla and red raspberry. It helps relieve tension, uplift, calm, and provides antiseptic, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.  I love that these come in accupressure bottles (the fluid is only released when you press down on the roller ball, ideally on one of your pressure points). These are a bit pricey, but worth it.

Bite Beauty Whipped Cherry Lip ScrubBite Beauty Whipped Cherry Lip Scrub
This stuff smells heavenly. It is a 100-percent natural cherry-flavored mousse infused with exfoliating beads to smooth and condition lips. It is silky and gentle and leaves my lips so soft. I got it in the Lip Love Ultimate Rescue Kit but you can also get it separately on Sephora for $18. Paraben-free.

Sephora Rose Blottting PapersSephora Herbal Rose Blotting Papers
I’ve used many types of oil blotting papers and since I bought these a month ago I’ve really come to like these ones. They do a great job of removing any oil without disturbing any makeup and smell absolutely wonderful. The rose scent was almost so good I wondered if it was real, but the ingredients simply say: bleached kraft softwood pulp, hemp pulp, rose petal fragments, and rose oil. $8 for 100 sheets. I’ve already ordered more.

Rituel de Fille Hex

Rituel De Fille Forbidden Lipstick in Hex
Such cool packaging and inside is this unique cool lilac/mauve/pink color that is just beautiful. You just don’e see this color very often. It is a true matte shade with great pigment. It is also long lasting, moisturizing, and made with natural ingredients including lavender oil. $23. Their other five lipstick colors are just as enchanting.

Mineral Fusion eye shadow in RareMineral Fusion Eye Shadow in Rare
If you have green eyes like me then you must get this eye shadow! It is the prettiest mossy green with a hint of golden glow to it and it applies SO nicely. It is like velvet and long lasting. The color really just goes on your lids with the swipe of a fingertip so easily. It is long-lasting, and free of parabens, talc, artificial color, gluten, and hypo-allergenic. I am so impressed by this stuff! $14.99. Right now they only have six colors, but this green is a winner.

Butter London eyeliners

Butter London Wink Eye Pencil in Cor Blimey and Busker
For me, purple and green are my must-have shades of eyeliner that I must have in my makeup kit. These ones by Butter London are beautiful matte shades that go on smooth and last a really long time. These don’t boast to be all natural or anything but I checked out the ingredients (typed them all into http://www.ewg.org/skindeep) and they checked okay in my book. All ingredients were a rating of 0-2, with only one at a 3. $18.

Sparitual lip gloss in calmSpaRitual Lip Gloss in Calm
This all natural gloss is the perfect barely-there sheer pink for everyday wear. It is vegan biodegradable, free of gluten, fragrance, parabens, and petrochemicals. Most of the ingredients are certified organic. It is smooth, non-sticky and smells lightly of citrus and vanilla. The bottle reminds me of dew drops on flower petals. $19. I have this in two other colors too, but this is my favorite so far.

So that’s it for now! I hope you found something new and interesting to try. What products did you love during the month of November? I’d love to hear in the comments below. I hope you’re all having a cozy start to your month of December. xo – Naomi
