I know this is a few days late but I wanted to share with you my favorite products for the month of September! These are the natural skincare and makeup products I’ve been especially loving and reaching for each and every day lately. I’d highly recommend any of these for you to try and I’ll write a little bit about all seven below. If you want me to do a more in-depth review of any of these or have questions do let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear what natural products you’ve been loving lately too!

Sept 2014 Favorites

Dessert Essence Organics Coconut Lip Tint
This isn’t really a tine, its clear so I’m not sure why they don’t just call it a balm or a gloss, but it is really soothing and smells great. I’ve been using it every night before bed to moisturize and renew my lips as I sleep. Contains organic coconut, jojoba, and sunflower seed oils.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara in Black Berry
I LOVE THIS MASCARA! Oh my goodness, it has become my favorite mascara. I loved their mascara to begin with and also love their black tea and blueberry colors, but this one is so beautiful for fall. It is a dark purple-plum color that looks beautiful with brown or purple eye makeup. Fantastic for fall. And it really separates and lengthens without smudging. I hope they never stop making this.

Everyday Minerals Semi-Matte Base in Ivory 1N
I’ve been using this everyday as a powder, not as a full foundation but just for light coverage, though it can provide full coverage. It makes my skin look more even, smooth and very natural. It doesn’t make my skin break out either which is a number one thing I look for!

Eminence Organics Red Currant Mattifying Mist
Ahh! I’m addicted to this facial mist! I love using it in the morning before and after I do my makeup, or in the afternoon as a pick-me-up. It is so energizing, refreshing, and hydrating but is actually mattifying. It is chock full of antioxidants and wonderful botanical ingredients. Plus it smells like dry/fruity from the currants.

Eminence Organics Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum
This stuff is addictive! I’ve been using this for about 6 or 7 weeks now? And I’m definitely going to get more. Dare I say it has become one of those holy grail products? I might. It smells like strawberry rhubarb pie…so delicious you almost want to eat it. But it isn’t sticky at all. I spread a thin layer on my face in place of moisturizer after cleansing and it soaks right in leaving my skin soft, hydrated for the day, bright and smooth. And I’ve noticed that if I have any scarring from a blemish etc that this stuff helps the skin to repair much faster than normal. I feel like my skin has really improved since using this.

100% Pure Long Last Concealer with Super Fruits
I’m the shade Cream, their lightest shade, and it is such a perfect match for my skin. I’ve hit pan on this and will need to reorder soon. I don’t know what I’d do without this. I use it to conceal dark circles and blemishes and it does such a great job of staying on all day and looking natural. I use a tiny concealer brush to apply sometimes to small scars, and it is very blendable but not too thin of a consistency. It is 100% natural, 100% vegan, and gluten free.

100% Pure Mangosteen Nourishing Body Cream
Another from 100% Pure! I’m really loving this brand if you couldn’t tell. I just started using this body cream but I’m obsessed with the smell. I didn’t really know what mangosteen was before trying this, but it smells sweet and fruity with some background floral notes (there is also honeysuckle, several different kinds of berries, and rosehip oil and rosewater in it. The best thing is the scent is all natural. It also blends right in without feeling greasy!

So those are my picks for the month of September. I’ll try to make these monthly favorites posts regular and can’t wait to show you what I’m enjoying this October! xo- Naomi
