October Julep Maven Box!

I always get so excited when I see that magenta Julep box in my mailbox each month! This time I got two 5-free vegan nail polishes in Logan and Briana, and their lip gloss in Polished.

I’d been really curious to try their lip gloss since it is paraben and sulfate-free. I absolutely love the shade, a perfect sheer pinky nude. It smells really sweet when you first put it on (the only fall-back as it probably has artificial fragrance in it) but the smell fades pretty quick. The gloss however lasts a really long time and isn’t sticky. It contains a blend of rosehip seed oil, green coffee bean oil, and Malvaceae Lipid Extract (from hibiscus) which makes it really hydrating. Briana is the perfect lapis blue that I’ve been looking for in a polish and I can’t wait to try it. Logan is a dark, dark, dark violet. It’s almost black but when you turn it in the light you can see it is actually purple with a slight pearl sheen. It’s one of those shades that is hard to capture on camera but looks so cool in person. I’m happy to add it to my ever-growing collection of purple polishes.
